# Bible vs Holy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bible at none against Holy's 3. Bible also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (14M vs 12). Holy's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Holy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Bible asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bible against 5.0 for Holy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible has 14M ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 99% of Bible's written reviews are positive against 100% of Holy's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
