# Snowglobe vs Birthday Reminders

The clearest difference is rating: Birthday Reminders at 4.3 against Snowglobe's 2.0. Birthday Reminders also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and ratings volume (6 vs 2). Snowglobe's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 20%) and price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Snowglobe costs $0.99 and Birthday Reminders $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Birthday Reminders holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Snowglobe's written reviews are positive against 20% of Birthday Reminders's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
