# Units vs Conversion Calculator Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Conversion Calculator Plus at 4.7 against Units's 4.1. Conversion Calculator Plus also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (15K vs 51). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Units sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Conversion Calculator Plus sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Conversion Calculator Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Conversion Calculator Plus has 15K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Units ships an update monthly, Conversion Calculator Plus every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
