# Units vs Conversion Calculator

The clearest difference is rating: Conversion Calculator at 4.8 against Units's 4.1. Conversion Calculator also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Units sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Conversion Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Conversion Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 49 and 165 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Units's written reviews are positive against 100% of Conversion Calculator's.

Units ships an update monthly, Conversion Calculator every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
