# PCalc vs Calculator!

The clearest difference is price: Calculator! at $0.99 against PCalc's $9.99. Calculator! also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 770) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). PCalc's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and device support (5 vs 3). On rating, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

PCalc costs $9.99 and Calculator! $0.99 up front. PCalc sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Calculator! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for PCalc against 4.8 for Calculator!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator! has 4.3K ratings behind it against 770, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of PCalc's written reviews are positive against 86% of Calculator!'s.

PCalc ships an update every 6 weeks, Calculator! every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
