# Google vs iUSB

The clearest difference is price: Google at Free against iUSB's $0.99. Google also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). iUSB's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Google is free to download; iUSB costs $0.99 up front. Google sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $0.89 per month and iUSB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Google holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google has 5.1M ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Google's written reviews are positive against 50% of iUSB's.

Google ships an update every 5 days, iUSB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and July 27, 2026 respectively.
