# IGN Entertainment vs HotS Helper

IGN Entertainment and HotS Helper both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of HotS Helper's written reviews are positive against 44% of IGN Entertainment's. IGN Entertainment's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 10). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IGN Entertainment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HotS Helper sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for IGN Entertainment against 4.3 for HotS Helper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IGN Entertainment has 20K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of IGN Entertainment's written reviews are positive against 90% of HotS Helper's.

IGN Entertainment ships an update every 9 days, HotS Helper every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
