# IGN Entertainment vs Tears Map

IGN Entertainment and Tears Map both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tears Map's written reviews are positive against 44% of IGN Entertainment's. Tears Map also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). IGN Entertainment's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 10). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IGN Entertainment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tears Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tears Map holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IGN Entertainment has 20K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of IGN Entertainment's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tears Map's.

IGN Entertainment ships an update every 2 weeks, Tears Map every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
