# IGN Entertainment vs Tem Encyclopedia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tem Encyclopedia at 100% against IGN Entertainment's 44%. Tem Encyclopedia also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). IGN Entertainment's advantage is ratings volume (20K vs 10) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IGN Entertainment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tem Encyclopedia sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tem Encyclopedia holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IGN Entertainment has 20K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of IGN Entertainment's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tem Encyclopedia's.

IGN Entertainment ships an update every 9 days, Tem Encyclopedia every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
