# IGN Entertainment vs Star Wars

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Star Wars at none against IGN Entertainment's 1. Star Wars also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (66% vs 44%). IGN Entertainment's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (20K vs 2K). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IGN Entertainment sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Star Wars asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for IGN Entertainment against 4.4 for Star Wars. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IGN Entertainment has 20K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of IGN Entertainment's written reviews are positive against 66% of Star Wars's.

IGN Entertainment ships an update every 9 days, Star Wars every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
