# Nitrox Tools vs Baltic Deco Planner

The clearest difference is price: Nitrox Tools at $5.99 against Baltic Deco Planner's $18.99. Nitrox Tools also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (4 vs 2). Baltic Deco Planner's advantage is ratings volume (49 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Nitrox Tools costs $5.99 and Baltic Deco Planner $18.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nitrox Tools holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baltic Deco Planner has 49 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Nitrox Tools's written reviews are positive against 91% of Baltic Deco Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nitrox Tools ships an update every 5 months, Baltic Deco Planner every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
