# Universalis vs Amberloom

The clearest difference is price: Amberloom at Free against Universalis's $9.99. Universalis's advantage is chart position (#4 vs unranked) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Amberloom is free to download; Universalis costs $9.99 up front. Universalis sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Amberloom sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
