# Catholic Calendar vs Philothea

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Catholic Calendar at 984 against Philothea's 1. Catholic Calendar also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Philothea's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Catholic Calendar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Philothea sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Philothea holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Catholic Calendar has 984 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
