# IM+ Instant Messenger vs BuzzNow

The clearest difference is rating: BuzzNow at 4.7 against IM+ Instant Messenger's 3.6. BuzzNow also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (598 vs 8). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IM+ Instant Messenger sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BuzzNow sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BuzzNow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BuzzNow has 598 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
