# ID Lock vs Folder Locker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ID Lock at 73% against Folder Locker's 18%. ID Lock also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Folder Locker's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.6).
