# Space Out vs NightmareF

The clearest difference is rating: Space Out at 4.3 against NightmareF's 4.0. Space Out also leads on chart position (#195 vs unranked) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). NightmareF's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 77%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Space Out costs $0.99 and NightmareF $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Space Out holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Out has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Space Out's written reviews are positive against 95% of NightmareF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Space Out ships an update every 2 months, NightmareF every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
