# iNavX vs Astron Skyfinder

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Astron Skyfinder at 93% against iNavX's 44%. Astron Skyfinder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iNavX's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iNavX sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Astron Skyfinder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astron Skyfinder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iNavX has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of iNavX's written reviews are positive against 93% of Astron Skyfinder's.

iNavX ships an update every 5 weeks, Astron Skyfinder every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
