# Keeper Password Manager vs Secure X

The clearest difference is rating: Keeper Password Manager at 4.9 against Secure X's 4.4. Keeper Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (232K vs 189) and chart position (#19 vs unranked). Secure X's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 65%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keeper Password Manager sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per year and Secure X sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Keeper Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keeper Password Manager has 232K ratings behind it against 189, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Keeper Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 77% of Secure X's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Keeper Password Manager ships an update every 4 weeks, Secure X monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
