# Keeper Password Manager vs Password Generator

The clearest difference is rating: Keeper Password Manager at 4.9 against Password Generator's 4.0. Keeper Password Manager also leads on ratings volume (231K vs 1) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). Password Generator's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keeper Password Manager sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per year. Password Generator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Keeper Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keeper Password Manager has 231K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Keeper Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 100% of Password Generator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
