# Solitaire vs Solitaire Diamond Path Version

The clearest difference is rating: Solitaire at 4.8 against Solitaire Diamond Path Version's 4.2. Solitaire also leads on ratings volume (75K vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solitaire Diamond Path Version sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solitaire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 75K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Solitaire ships an update every 2 months, Solitaire Diamond Path Version every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
