# Solitaire vs Devil Six Solitaire

The clearest difference is ads: Devil Six Solitaire at none against Solitaire's shown. Devil Six Solitaire also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Solitaire's advantage is ratings volume (75K vs 110) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solitaire sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Devil Six Solitaire sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Solitaire against 4.8 for Devil Six Solitaire. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 75K ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Solitaire's written reviews are positive against 100% of Devil Six Solitaire's.

Solitaire ships an update every 2 months, Devil Six Solitaire weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
