# FAAwait vs USFS & BLM Campgrounds

The clearest difference is monetization model: FAAwait at free against USFS & BLM Campgrounds's paid. FAAwait also leads on review sentiment (56% vs 46%). USFS & BLM Campgrounds's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

FAAwait costs $0.99 and USFS & BLM Campgrounds $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

USFS & BLM Campgrounds holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USFS & BLM Campgrounds has 4.3K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of FAAwait's written reviews are positive against 46% of USFS & BLM Campgrounds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
