# Tic Tac Toe vs Ultimate Tic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ultimate Tic at every 5 days against Tic Tac Toe's every 9 months. Tic Tac Toe's advantage is ratings volume (2.7K vs 14) and review sentiment (73% vs 50%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tic Tac Toe sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ultimate Tic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Tic Tac Toe against 4.6 for Ultimate Tic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tic Tac Toe has 2.7K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.
