# iPray vs Dualock

The clearest difference is monetization model: iPray at free against Dualock's paid. iPray also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (9.1K vs 1). Dualock's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

iPray costs $1.99 and Dualock $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dualock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPray has 9.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iPray ships an update weekly, Dualock every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
