# MD5 vs 24

The clearest difference is rating: 24 at 4.4 against MD5's 1.0. 24 also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 months vs every 29 months). MD5's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 24 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MD5 asks for nothing beyond the download.
