# NOS Teletekst vs FD

The clearest difference is rating: FD at 4.6 against NOS Teletekst's 3.9. FD also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (255 vs 11). NOS Teletekst's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FD holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FD has 255 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of NOS Teletekst's written reviews are positive against 46% of FD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NOS Teletekst ships an update every 2 months, FD fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
