# FStream vs iziCast

The clearest difference is price: FStream at Free against iziCast's $12.99. FStream also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). iziCast's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

FStream is free to download; iziCast costs $12.99 up front. iziCast sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. FStream asks for nothing beyond the download.

iziCast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 281 and 175 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of FStream's written reviews are positive against 73% of iziCast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FStream ships an update every 3 months, iziCast every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
