# Network Ping vs UniFi Access

The clearest difference is price: UniFi Access at Free against Network Ping's $3.99. UniFi Access also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (4.6K vs 8). Network Ping's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 60%) and chart position (#158 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

UniFi Access is free to download; Network Ping costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UniFi Access holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi Access has 4.6K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Network Ping's written reviews are positive against 60% of UniFi Access's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Network Ping ships an update every 12 months, UniFi Access every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
