# Network Ping vs Splashtop Business

The clearest difference is price: Splashtop Business at Free against Network Ping's $3.99. Splashtop Business also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 8). Network Ping's advantage is chart position (#156 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Splashtop Business is free to download; Network Ping costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Splashtop Business holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splashtop Business has 4.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Network Ping's written reviews are positive against 68% of Splashtop Business's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Network Ping ships an update every 12 months, Splashtop Business every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
