# Stop Watch vs Stopwatch´

The clearest difference is price: Stopwatch´ at Free against Stop Watch's $0.99. Stopwatch´ also leads on ratings volume (305 vs 5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Stop Watch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Stopwatch´ is free to download; Stop Watch costs $0.99 up front. Stopwatch´ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Stop Watch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stop Watch holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stopwatch´ has 305 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Stop Watch's written reviews are positive against 70% of Stopwatch´'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
