# Colors! Lite vs Poseit

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Colors! Lite at none against Poseit's 8. Colors! Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Poseit's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 56 months) and ratings volume (281 vs 17). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poseit sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Colors! Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Colors! Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poseit has 281 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Colors! Lite's written reviews are positive against 78% of Poseit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Colors! Lite ships an update every 56 months, Poseit every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
