# Webcam free vs Ghost Finder Tools

The clearest difference is rating: Ghost Finder Tools at 3.1 against Webcam free's 2.6. Ghost Finder Tools also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (360 vs 5). Webcam free's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ghost Finder Tools holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost Finder Tools has 360 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Webcam free's written reviews are positive against 44% of Ghost Finder Tools's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Webcam free ships an update every 4 months, Ghost Finder Tools every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
