# GL Golf Lite vs Donkey Golf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GL Golf Lite at 61% against Donkey Golf's 0%. GL Golf Lite also leads on ratings volume (85 vs 15). Donkey Golf's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GL Golf Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Donkey Golf sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Donkey Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GL Golf Lite has 85 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of GL Golf Lite's written reviews are positive against 0% of Donkey Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GL Golf Lite ships an update every 3 months, Donkey Golf monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
