# GL Golf Lite vs Golf Strike

The clearest difference is rating: Golf Strike at 4.5 against GL Golf Lite's 3.9. Golf Strike also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 85) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). GL Golf Lite's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 19%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GL Golf Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Golf Strike sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Strike holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Strike has 12K ratings behind it against 85, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of GL Golf Lite's written reviews are positive against 19% of Golf Strike's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
