# GL Golf Lite vs Retro Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Retro Golf at 5.0 against GL Golf Lite's 3.9. Retro Golf also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). GL Golf Lite's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (85 vs 10). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GL Golf Lite sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Retro Golf sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retro Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9.
