# Telkussa vs SNPlayer

The clearest difference is ads: SNPlayer at none against Telkussa's shown. SNPlayer also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Telkussa's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telkussa sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SNPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Telkussa against 5.0 for SNPlayer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SNPlayer has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Telkussa ships an update every 3 months, SNPlayer weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
