# Christmas vs Eldad

The clearest difference is monetization model: Eldad at free against Christmas's paid. Eldad also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Christmas's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 2) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eldad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Christmas has 51 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Christmas ships an update monthly, Eldad every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
