# YES! vs Dot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: YES! at 75% against Dot's 0%. YES! also leads on price (Free vs $2.49) and ads (none vs shown). Dot's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.3). On update cadence, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

YES! is free to download; Dot costs $2.49 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YES! has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of YES!'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Dot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
