# Super Mega Sudoku vs Bot Flow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Super Mega Sudoku at none against Bot Flow's 10. Super Mega Sudoku also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Bot Flow's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 18 months) and ratings volume (349 vs 2). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bot Flow sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Super Mega Sudoku asks for nothing beyond the download.

Super Mega Sudoku holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bot Flow has 349 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Super Mega Sudoku's written reviews are positive against 63% of Bot Flow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Super Mega Sudoku ships an update every 18 months, Bot Flow every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
