# Christmas List vs Wishlist Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wishlist Maker at 90% against Christmas List's 54%. Wishlist Maker also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Christmas List's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 178) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Christmas List sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wishlist Maker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wishlist Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Christmas List has 1.9K ratings behind it against 178, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Christmas List's written reviews are positive against 90% of Wishlist Maker's.

Christmas List ships an update every 5 months, Wishlist Maker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
