# PayBack vs Expertens

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Expertens at none against PayBack's 1. PayBack's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 13 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PayBack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Expertens asks for nothing beyond the download.

PayBack ships an update monthly, Expertens every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
