# WeatherPro vs WeathAware Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WeathAware Plus at none against WeatherPro's 5. WeathAware Plus also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). WeatherPro's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 8) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

WeatherPro costs $0.99 and WeathAware Plus $2.99 up front. WeatherPro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. WeathAware Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

WeatherPro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeatherPro has 3.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of WeatherPro's written reviews are positive against 63% of WeathAware Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WeatherPro ships an update every 3 months, WeathAware Plus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
