# Checkers ・ vs Pinball Game

The clearest difference is rating: Checkers ・ at 4.5 against Pinball Game's 4.0. Checkers ・ also leads on ratings volume (59K vs 2). Pinball Game's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Checkers ・ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Checkers ・ has 59K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Checkers ・'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Pinball Game's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Checkers ・ ships an update every 3 months, Pinball Game weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
