# SBB Mobile vs DB Navigator

The clearest difference is rating: DB Navigator at 4.6 against SBB Mobile's 3.9. DB Navigator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (16K vs 71). SBB Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 31%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DB Navigator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DB Navigator has 16K ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of SBB Mobile's written reviews are positive against 31% of DB Navigator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SBB Mobile ships an update every 3 weeks, DB Navigator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
