# Touch Bible vs Bible

Touch Bible and Bible both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Touch Bible's written reviews are positive against 38% of Bible's. Touch Bible also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (14.4 vs 18.0). Bible's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (303 vs 31). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bible sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Touch Bible asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Touch Bible against 4.4 for Bible. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible has 303 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Touch Bible's written reviews are positive against 38% of Bible's.

Touch Bible ships an update every 2 months, Bible weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
