# Menorah vs Virtual Menorah

The clearest difference is price: Menorah at Free against Virtual Menorah's $1.99. Menorah also leads on review sentiment (79% vs 43%) and ratings volume (35 vs 4). Virtual Menorah's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Menorah is free to download; Virtual Menorah costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Virtual Menorah holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Menorah has 35 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Menorah's written reviews are positive against 43% of Virtual Menorah's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Menorah ships an update every 11 months, Virtual Menorah monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
