# Target vs Kroger

Target and Kroger both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of Target's written reviews are positive against 11% of Kroger's. Target also leads on ratings volume (7M vs 1.3M) and chart position (#13 vs #62). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Target against 4.8 for Kroger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Target has 7M ratings behind it against 1.3M, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Target's written reviews are positive against 11% of Kroger's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
