# Target vs Fred Meyer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Target at 59% against Fred Meyer's 10%. Target also leads on ratings volume (7M vs 150K) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Target holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Target has 7M ratings behind it against 150K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Target's written reviews are positive against 10% of Fred Meyer's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
