# Target vs PC Optimum

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Target at 59% against PC Optimum's 9%. Target also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.1) and ratings volume (7M vs 34K). PC Optimum's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Target holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Target has 7M ratings behind it against 34K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Target's written reviews are positive against 9% of PC Optimum's.

Target ships an update weekly, PC Optimum every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
