# Amazon Shopping vs Doffo

Amazon Shopping and Doffo both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Doffo's written reviews are positive against 23% of Amazon Shopping's. Doffo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Amazon Shopping's advantage is ratings volume (8.5M vs 5) and chart position (#5 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazon Shopping sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Doffo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Amazon Shopping against 4.8 for Doffo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazon Shopping has 8.5M ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Amazon Shopping's written reviews are positive against 100% of Doffo's.

Amazon Shopping ships an update fortnightly, Doffo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
